Paul Myhill – Consultant

Paul Myhill is the Founder and President of The Traffic Jam Campaign, a public charity dedicated to community-based solutions to prevent, rescue and care for children involved in child trafficking.

The Traffic Jam Campaign unites musicians and their fans to join the fight to stop child trafficking (slavery) around the world, domestically and internationally. Since 2004, it has raised substantial funding for community-based prevention, rescue and aftercare solutions for highly vulnerable and previously enslaved children in over thirty countries. Traffic Jam works with many faiths, NGO’s, and governmental programs.

During the start up of Traffic Jam in 2004, Paul concurrently served as the Vice President of World Orphans, a mid-sized charity that has participated in the funding of over 500 orphan homes in almost 50 countries. In 2006, Paul was appointed as the President/CEO of World Orphans and now leads this global organization.

Born in Bedford, England he moved to Texas in the late 70’s. He was an Honors Graduate with a BBA (Honor Business and Finance) and MBA (Management and Marketing) from the University of Texas at Austin. Paul went on to spend ten years as a highly successful business developer and consultant before “giving up the rat race” in order to give back to society and its children. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 1995. They have four children and now reside in Castle Rock, Colorado, just south of Denver.

Paul has overseen community development and outreach projects in more than 60 countries through a network of dozens of organizations. He has traveled to over 80 countries and has a passion for other cultures, especially impoverished and marginalized people. He was the Director of Projects for Chinese Children Charities, a $7 million annual campaign, where he was involved with directing model orphanages (exemplary care and training centers) and child sponsorship programs in East Asia.

Paul has served on the governing boards of private and public companies as well as public charities and private foundations.  He is currently authoring a book on the plight and care of orphaned and abandoned children. He is also preparing to publish a book of his photographs of at-risk children around the world.
